If the vehicle has a push-button start system with electronic steering lock or anti-theft faults, scan data is often the fastest path forward.
Also get help if you have already confirmed clean battery terminals, good cables, proper fuse and relay function, and the car still will not start. At that point, a scan tool, voltage-drop testing, and fuel pressure measurement can save hours. Guessing from that stage usually costs more than a proper diagnosis.
